Job summary

Famous Footwear is seeking a Sales Lead who cares deeply about delivering the best shoe store experience for every customer. You’ll create a welcoming environment and an in‑store culture where customers feel valued and celebrate team successes.

You’ll drive sales, coach teammates, and stay on top of trends to engage customers with the famous feeling. Flexibility and teamwork are essential as you lead by example in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Retail practices and procedures knowledge.
• Some management experience or relevant leadership experience.
• Ability to mentor and train Associates on selling and operations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow directions from store management.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspire a Famous Feeling and coach selling behaviors for Customer Connection.
• Drive sales with accountability and focus on store performance.
• Know store operations, pricing and inventory inside out.
• Open and close the store, keep it clean and merchandised.
• Uphold company policies and collaborate with partners to complete tasks.
• Champion company culture with attentiveness to customer service and brands.
