Job summary

Caleres, Inc. is seeking a Famous Footwear Sales Associate to create an exceptional in-store experience. You will welcome customers, share knowledge about our brands, and help shoppers find the perfect fit while driving store performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager.
• Knowledge of basic retail practices.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily store tasks including pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory to keep the store tidy and organized.
• Engage customers with excellent service and product knowledge to drive sales and loyalty.
• Provide a positive store experience, promote brand and company values, and support teammates.
• Assist with training and development when needed, and uphold company policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly with the team to help achieve store goals and deliver the Famous Footwear experience.
