Job summary

Aviso, LLC is seeking an immediate Shipping & Order Fulfillment Specialist in San Jose, CA. This long-term, part-time position handles day-to-day dispatch logistics, lab shipment preparations, and end-of-day invoicing and records management.

The role runs from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with duties including preparing manifests, coordinating with Lab, entering transactions in Syspro, packaging shipments with FedEx, and maintaining documentation for audits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in shipping, dispatching, or warehouse order fulfillment.
• Hands-on Syspro ERP experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and document archiving.
• Strong attention to detail with lot numbers and counts.
• Strong communication skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Examine daily production recaps to identify items for freight output.
• Draft shipping manifests and coordinate with Shipping Staff and Forklift Operators.
• Enter shipping transactions into Syspro and generate paperwork (Test Reports, Packing Lists, Manifests).
• Prepare, package, label, and process lab deliveries using FedEx Express or FedEx Ground.
• Book freight transport, arrange outbound pickups, and archive shipping docs.
