SureWerx in Jefferson, Ohio, is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Shipping Coordinator to support shipping operations and light production at our manufacturing facility. The position runs Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m., with potential peak-season full-time hours.

Candidates must live within the Jefferson commuting area. The role involves accurate order fulfillment, booking UPS pickups, and coordinating outgoing shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience using shipping software (UPS WorldShip or equivalent).
• Familiarity with LTL freight quoting and BOL preparation preferred.
• Forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
• Attention to detail with a 'measure twice, cut once' mindset.
• Ability to operate light hand tools and assist with light manufacturing.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Willingness to fill in on vacations or during peak production.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: pull items for UPS orders and prepare for shipment.
• Logistics Management: book UPS pickups and coordinate shipments via carrier portals.
• Freight Coordination: obtain and compare quotes for LTL freight.
• Quality Assurance: conduct final inspections before shipment.
• Assembly & Manufacturing: perform light manufacturing tasks to maintain stock.
