Job summary

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read shipping documents, and experience with shipping software and ERP/WMS systems. Pay rate is $24.00 per hour and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Shipping, warehouse, logistics experience preferred.
• Experience with shipping software and ERP/WMS systems a plus.
• Familiar with UPS, FedEx, USPS and freight procedures.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and data entry.
• Strong reading of shipping documents and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process customer orders for shipment.
• Pick, pack, label, and verify products.
• Generate shipping documents (labels, bills of lading, etc.).
• Coordinate shipments with carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, LTL).
• Schedule freight pickups and monitor shipment status.
• Verify shipping information for accuracy.
• Inspect packages for proper packaging and compliance.
• Maintain shipping records in ERP/WMS.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies and delivery issues.
• Communicate with other teams regarding shipping priorities.
• Assist with inventory counts and shipping area organization.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform other warehouse and logistics duties.
