Job summary

CDS (Club Demonstration Services) is seeking staff to assist with daily store operations, including event setup and teardown at Costco locations. You will educate customers, demonstrate products, and promote features while upholding safety, sanitation, and store standards.

The role emphasizes friendly, energetic customer interaction, independence with teamwork, and reliability for 2–3 shifts per week, including weekends. Training is provided, and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic manner
• 18 years or older required
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Comfort with prepping, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment
• Ability to demonstrate and educate customers during product demos
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with daily store operations, including opening and closing operations for events. They will support adherence to all warehouse standards for safety, customer service, product quality, operations and store cleanliness and serve as a role model & resource for other staff. The Shift Coordinator, while performing breaks or events, will influence the buyer’s behavior through customer education, engagement, and enthusiastically promoting and demonstrating the product.

Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Are a 18 years or older
• Available to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for up to 6 hours
• Are comfortable preparing, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment
• Arecomfortable supporting demo events, ensuring carts, equipment and supplies are set up and removed properly
• Engage Costco members through product demonstrations and education
• Assist with food safety, sanitation, and daily safety inspections
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
