Job summary

Ivy Living is seeking a Server to provide friendly, courteous dining service to residents and guests at our California senior living community. You will take orders, input them into the POS, set up and bus tables, and uphold safety and service standards while supporting a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate is 16 or older, with or without prior experience, and willing to train. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with strong communication skills and a genuine desire

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Must possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
• May require vaccination and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter into POS.Set up and bus tables.
• Ensure proper serving etiquette and safety standards.
• Promote teamwork across departments.
