Morningside House of Spotsylvania is hiring a Server to assist with food service for residents in a memory care community in Fredericksburg, VA. The role reports to the Director of Dining Services and offers Part Time or PRN scheduling, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities include serving meals, assisting in meal setup, cleaning duties, and ensuring safety and quality standards are followed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
• Server assists in serving meals as necessary and on a timely basis.
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Carry soiled utensils, etc., to wash area.
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies, etc.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
• Obtain food supplies for next meal.
• Deliver food carts, trays, etc., to designated areas.
• Serve food in dining room as instructed.
• Prepare and deliver snacks, etc., as instructed.
