Job summary

True Connection Communities - Arbour Square in Harleysville, PA is seeking a Part Time Server to deliver a warm, responsive dining experience to residents.

As the first and last contact at meals, you will take orders, relay to kitchen, serve food and beverages, keep dining areas clean, and ensure timely service. Prior dining/hospitality experience is preferred; ability to lift up to 40 pounds required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Excellent listening skills and detail oriented.
• Able to ask appropriate questions to deliver the best service possible.
• Experience in hospitality, healthcare or service environment preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers.
• Takes food and drink orders from customers and answers questions about menu items.
• Relays customers’ orders to other kitchen staff.
• Serves food and drinks to customers.
• Cleans assigned work areas, such as dining tables or serving counters.
• Stocks service stations, cabinets, and tables.
• Sets tables or prepares food stations for new customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
