Job summary

Troon, at Rawls Course in Lubbock, TX, is seeking a part-time Server to join a fast-paced hospitality-focused property. You’ll provide excellent guest service, describe daily specials, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of serving experience or training. Healthcare benefits and a 401(k) with employer match are available to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and two years serving experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to meet state age requirements for handling alcohol.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to guests and answers questions about menu items.
• Takes food and beverage orders and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties.
• Accounts for checks and cash transactions and uses the POS system.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Adheres to standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Assists with safe work practices and performs other duties as required.
