Job summary

Vista Park Retirement Community in North Las Vegas is seeking a Part-Time Server to create enjoyable dining experiences for residents. You’ll assist in Casual Dining, greet tables, take orders, serve courses, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining room.

No prior experience required; you must be 15+ and able to communicate clearly in English. You may need a food handler permit per local rules within two weeks of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• No prior work experience required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
• Ability to secure required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.
• State regulations may require a work permit depending on age and residence.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experience by assisting residents in Casual Dining and serving needs.
• Greet tables, guide menu selections, take orders, and serve courses.
• Clear and reset tables, handle dishes, and keep the dining area clean.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly attitude.
• Listen to resident feedback and escalate to a supervisor when needed.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
