Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of a 10th grade education.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Weekend availability required.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the menu and production sheets.
• Handles food using proper food handling and safety techniques.
• Ensures food is served attractively and at proper temperatures; records temperatures as required.
• Follows procedures for serving partner meals and maintains quality standards before service.
• Communicates warmly with residents, families, and visitors and responds to concerns professionally.
