Grand Living at Riverstone in Sugar Land, TX, is seeking a Server to create exceptional dining experiences across ourCommunity. You'll serve residents and guests, support events, and collaborate with culinary teams to deliver First Class Happiness through thoughtful service.

The role emphasizes hospitality, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring every interaction is meaningful for residents and guests alike.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Previous serving or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining service standards.
• Positive attitude and desire to help others.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for resident communication.
• Manual dexterity to use kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay active during shift.

What You'll Do

As aServer, you'll help create exceptional dining experiences throughout our community. Whether serving residents in our elegant dining room, welcoming guests to the Bistro, supporting special events, or delivering personalized service in Luminations®(memory care), you'll bring The Sterling Touch® to every interaction.

In this role, you will:

What You Bring

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and service.

Preferred qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Previous serving or hospitality experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional service standards
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others
• Ability to read, write, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with residents, guests, supervisors, and team members
• Sufficient manual dexterity of hands and arms in order to use all kitchen equipment and utensils (e.g. knives, spoons spatulas, tongs, slicers, etc.)
• This role requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, and remaining active throughout the shift.
