Job summary

Grand Living at Lakewood Ranch in Sarasota, FL is seeking a part-time Server to deliver attentive dining experiences across our luxury senior living community. You will serve residents in the dining room, welcome guests to the Bistro, and assist with events, bringing The Sterling Touch to every interaction.

Ideal candidates have prior serving or hospitality experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the stamina to stay active on their feet.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

As aServer, you'll help create exceptional dining experiences throughout our community. Whether serving residents in our elegant dining room, welcoming guests to the Bistro, supporting special events, or delivering personalized service in Luminations®(memory care), you'll bring The Sterling Touch® to every interaction.

What You Bring

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and service.

Preferred qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• Previous serving or hospitality experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional service standards
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others
• Ability to read, write, and understand English in order to communicate effectively with residents, guests, supervisors, and team members
• Sufficient manual dexterity of hands and arms in order to use all kitchen equipment and utensils (e.g. knives, spoons spatulas, tongs, slicers, etc.)
• This role requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, and remaining active throughout the shift.
