Our House of Tooele is seeking a dependable Part-Time Transportation Specialist to help residents travel safely to appointments, activities, and outings. You will operate a clean vehicle and coordinate schedules with care teams.

The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and experienced with seniors, with a valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to work independently in a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Experience working with seniors or in healthcare is preferred.
• Ability to meet company and insurance requirements for driving residents.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, activities, shopping, errands, and other destinations.
• Assist residents safely in and out of the vehicle as needed.
• Provide friendly, respectful, and compassionate assistance throughout each trip.
• Ensure residents arrive safely and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized transportation vehicle.
• Complete required transportation logs and documentation.
• Follow traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Communicate with the care team regarding transportation schedules and resident needs.
• Help coordinate transportation schedules and communicate changes or delays.
• Be attentive to residents' comfort and individual needs.
• Assist with other duties within the community when transportation is not scheduled.
