Job summary

Presbyterian Senior Living is seeking compassionate staff to support residents as part-time drivers, with shifts from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

to 7:30 p.m., plus PRN opportunities. You will transport residents to activities and appointments and assist them during boarding and alighting. Additionally, you will operate lift equipment for wheelchairs, perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and assist maintenance with vehicle upkeep.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
• Current CPR preferred.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents in company vehicles to activities and appointments.
• Safely assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates lift equipment necessary to load and unload wheelchairs.
• Assists maintenance department in maintaining vehicles.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Recognizes and reports changes in resident's condition to medical personnel.
• Provides excellent customer service in all interactions.
• Maintains a safe work environment and exhibits safe work practices.
• Interacts cooperatively with residents, families, visitors and other staff.
