Job summary

The Valley Community Association (VCA) in Buffalo is seeking a part-time bus driver to transport senior citizens to stores, programming at the Valley Community Center, field trips, and other activities.

Responsibilities include helping passengers on/off the bus, loading walkers, picking up donations, running office errands, assisting with events, keeping the bus clean, and completing required paperwork. Availability: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays 8:00am–3:00pm, with occasional additional hours.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License (no CDL required).
• Safe, defensive driver with a clean driving record.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lb.

Responsibilities

• Transport senior citizens to stores, programming, field trips, and other activities.
• Help passengers on and off the bus and load/unload walkers.
• Pick up donations and supplies; run errands for the office.
• Assist with agency events and keep the bus clean.
• Follow maintenance schedules and complete required paperwork.
