Job summary

Visionworks of America in Arlington Heights, IL, is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store and guide the patient journey. You will be trained in optics, products and managed vision care to meet eyewear needs in a simple, human and bold way.

You will drive daily sales, engage with patients, recommend suitable products, and ensure eyewear is right the first time through ongoing training and hands-on store floor activity.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Day-to-day operational activities to support store goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship
