Job summary

Visionworks in Wheaton, IL is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to guide customers through the eyewear journey with deep product knowledge and a friendly, human approach.

This part-time role requires 12 months optical experience (or ABO Certification), a high school diploma, and a license as needed by state guidelines. You will drive daily sales, suggest best-fitting eyewear, and support store operations.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by executing the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products to meet eye care needs.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product knowledge through training.
• Support store operations including opening/closing in LEAD positions.
