Job summary

Clearwater Living at Glendora is seeking a part-time Medication Technician to join our premier luxury senior living community. You will assist residents with medications, follow care plans, and support daily living activities in a compassionate, patient-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of caregiving or medication technician experience; First Aid/CPR/BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a Caregiver or Medication Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily medications, treatments and care.
• Observe, verify, and document that medication is ingested or applied as directed.
• Notify supervisor of any discrepancies in prescribed medication.
• Maintain confidential records on resident medication and care.
• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician(s).
• Prepare medications for distribution up to 24 hours in advance.
• Participate in narcotic counts at shift start and end.
• Assist caregivers in their duties when needed.
• Respond promptly to resident needs while respecting dignity and privacy.
