Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Strong hygiene and infection-control knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares various foods according to menus created by dieticians for each meal.
• Operates kitchen equipment (mixer, slicer, processor, oven, steamer) as needed.
• Keeps work surfaces clean and organized; follows safety and infection-control policies.
• Assists in providing meals and diets as ordered; adheres to portion controls and dietary substitutions.
• Records temperatures and monitors stock and equipment maintenance.
