Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is seeking a part-time cook/dietary aide for The Villas of Holly Brook- Marshall. You will work with the Dining Services Manager to prepare, deliver, and sanitize meals, ensuring nutrition and appealing presentation for residents.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion for the elderly, and delivering excellent service to residents and families while maintaining health and safety standards. Training and state requirements apply.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent and complete training as required by state regulations.
• Six months prior experience in a food service department preferred.
• Food Handlers Permit as required by state regulations.
• Previous experience working with the elderly.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and vendors.
• Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food ordering, preparation, and delivery for the community dining program.
• Ensure meals are prepared in a nutritious and appetizing fashion and maintain kitchen sanitation.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.
