Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Experience working with senior groups or leading/assisting with group activities preferred.
• Knowledge of and experience with arts and crafts preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills and telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Implements Recreation Programs as per Monthly Calendar and as directed by Recreation Director.
• Assists in completing the Recreation Calendar and facility newsletter.
• Reschedules programs as needed and updates the calendar after approval.
• Implements One-on-One and Room Visit Programs and documents visits.
• Maintains electronic charting of resident participation.
• Assists with Leisure Interest Assessments and communicates resident interests.
• Promotes the Volunteer Program and assists in training volunteers.
• Leads group programs such as music, crafts, recreation, and exercise.
• Transports residents to/from programs and assists with community trips.
• Prepares equipment and supplies for programs.
