Job summary

MBK Senior Living is hiring a part-time Dining Server to provide high-quality dining experiences for residents. You will take accurate orders, serve meals, maintain a clean dining area, and provide courteous, friendly service within a collaborative team.

Wage ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, with part-time scheduling and growth opportunities through training programs and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Exposure to restaurant operations or the ability to learn.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED), highly preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older or have a proper work permit and authorization documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dining service by taking accurate food orders and serving meals to residents, family members, and guests in a professional, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Uphold a high standard of table etiquette by serving from the left, clearing dishes between courses, and resetting tables for subsequent service to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and courteous manner, assisting with their meal and menu selections, and attending to their dining needs, as necessary or requested.
• Review and adhere to residents' dietary needs, restrictions, and preferences as outlined by the Supervisor and in their care plan.
• Deliver meals to and retrieve trays from residents' rooms after meal service, as required, for those who opt for room service.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations, and fully comply with all food safety handling and service protocols.
