Oakmont Management Group is seeking a part-time Activity Assistant at Oakmont of Camarillo. This role involves organizing and directing various activities for residents to enhance their quality of life and independence.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and enjoy working in a cooperative environment. Responsibilities include promoting resident participation in activities and managing community volunteers.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C license, preferable Class B or C with Passenger Endorsement.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in providing a creative social atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and co-workers.
• Maintain a safe environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
