Good Samaritan - Ambassador (New Hope, MN) seeks a part-time Activities/Wellness staff member to enhance resident quality of life. You will run individual and group activities, coordinate monthly calendars, and solicit resident input while supporting basic care tasks and smooth transport as needed.

The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and creativity in a senior care setting, with shift from 10:30am-4:30pm or similar, including alternating weekends and required training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in social services or creative activities preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics preferred.
• Knowledge of working with diverse resident demographics.
• CNA certification preferred or enrolled in a healthcare program.
• BLS required; CPR certification within six months may be required.
• Must meet Sanford Driving Policy and have a valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Strives to improve residents' quality of life through individual and group activities.
• Administers the monthly activity calendar and coordinates activities.
• Engages residents for input and maintains organized, upbeat programs.
• Assists with simple nursing tasks and transporting residents as needed.
• Supports documentation in EPIC/MDS and maintains strong communication.
• Demonstrates leadership to motivate others and manages priorities autonomously.
• Plans efficient use of resources and designs work processes.
