Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, 5+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with financial statements and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare supporting schedules and journal entries.
• Assist with monthly financial statement preparation.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
• Analyze operating expenses and identify trends, variances, and anomalies.
• Review financial data and provide meaningful insights to management.
• Support profitability and operational reporting initiatives.
• Extract, organize, and analyze data from accounting and operational systems.
• Build and maintain Excel-based reports and analysis tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and visibility.
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and related accounting records.
• Support annual financial review and tax processes.
• Assist with property tax reporting and business surveys.
