Job summary

Pacific-Recycling-Inc seeks a part-time Senior Accountant in Eugene, OR with 5+ years of accounting experience to support monthly reporting and close processes. The role offers a flexible schedule (15–25 hours per week) and independence to contribute immediately within a collaborative accounting team.

You will handle GL reconciliations, journal entries, financial analyses, and reporting, while ensuring accuracy and compliance across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience preparing financial statements and performing account reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close & Financial Reporting: reconcile GL accounts and prepare journal entries.
• Financial Analysis: analyze expenses, identify variances, and provide insights to management.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: extract data, build Excel reports, improve reporting efficiency.
• Compliance & Support: assist with annual financial review, tax processes, and asset schedules.
