Go Store It in Queens, NY is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Associate to keep our self-storage facility safe, clean, and fully functional. You’ll walk the property daily, fix small repairs, assist customers on site, and ensure gates, lights, and alarms operate smoothly.

We value reliable, detail-oriented team members who take pride in finishing tasks and taking ownership of the space. No degree required; high school diploma and a valid driver's license are needed, with paid time off and tools

Responsibilities

• Walk the property daily to spot trash, damage, lights out, leaks or issues.
• Fix small repairs like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and touch-up work.
• Keep hallways, driveways, units and bathrooms clean and orderly.
• Turn over units after move-outs; prepare for next renter.
• Check gates, lights and alarms to ensure proper operation.
• Assist customers on site and provide help as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Walk the property every day. Look for trash, damage, lights out, leaks, or anything that’s off.
• Fix small things like locks, lights, doors, toilets, and simple paint or patch repairs.
• Keep the place clean. Hallways, driveways, units, bathrooms, and trash runs.
• Turn over units after move-outs. Sweep, clean, and get them ready for the next renter.
• Check gates, lights, and alarms to make sure they’re working.
• Help customers when they’re on site and need a hand.
• Take care of the place so it looks right and runs smooth. Like something you’re proud to be part of.
