Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment across multiple Colorado site locations, including Boulder, Westminster, Brighton, Denver, Aurora, and Louisville.

You will monitor premises, enforce site regulations, and assist visitors and employees with directions and information. Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, 18+, good technology skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
