Securitas, Inc. is hiring a Part Time Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment across multiple sites in CO. You will monitor premises, manage access, and patrol assigned locations while enforcing site rules and directives.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in dynamic situations. On-site roles include daily duties and on-going training opportunities.

Part Time Security Officer

Site Locations: Louisville, Westminster, Brighton, Boulder, Denver, & Aurora, CO

Wage Range:$20.00-$22.75/HR

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
