Securitas USA is hiring a Part Time Security Officer to help maintain a safe environment across sites in Louisville, Westminster, Brighton, Boulder, Denver, and Aurora, CO.

The role entails access control, patrolling, reporting hazards, and assisting employees and guests. The job requires 18+ with a HS diploma or GED, and some security or military experience is a plus; strong customer service and calm, professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/tech skills.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must remain calm and professional during stress.
• Must have great attention to detail and vigilance.
• Professional demeanor.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid judgment and escalation.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises with access control and patrolling.
• Preserve order and enforce directives for client sites.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to employees/guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks of similar nature as required.
