What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and/or vendors at a high-volume technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen individuals and authorized items entering designated areas using established access-control and screening protocols, escalating irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, prohibited-item concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity, screening results, incidents, and/or shift handoffs.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and nearby perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
