Job summary

Allied Universal in Bloomington, CA is seeking a Part-Time Screening Security Officer to protect clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will screen personnel, visitors, and/or materials, monitor access points, and respond to incidents, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Background check as per federal, state and local laws.
Drug screening as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while enforcing site-specific procedures and security policies.
Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and authorized personnel entering designated areas.
Inspect packages, belongings, and/or vehicles as directed by site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, documented manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized activity.
