Allied Universal in Bloomington, CA is seeking a Part-Time Screening Security Officer to protect clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will screen personnel, visitors, and/or materials, monitor access points, and respond to incidents, while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while enforcing site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and authorized personnel entering designated areas.
• Inspect packages, belongings, and/or vehicles as directed by site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, documented manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized activity.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM


• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM


• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.


• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and authorized personnel entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures.


• Inspect packages, belongings, and/or vehicles as directed by site-specific policies and applicable procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated operational areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
