Allied Universal in Bloomington, CA is seeking a Security Officer Screening Coordinator to screen individuals and materials, monitor access points, and report security concerns at a logistics location.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma, and the ability to work a night schedule at $18.80 per hour. You will deliver professional customer service, coordinate with drivers and staff, and help deter incidents through vigilance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the job state.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants subject to background investigation by laws.
• Drug screen will be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen incoming and outgoing individuals, vehicles, packages, and materials in accordance with site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Verify identification, credentials, delivery documentation, and authorization for entry to restricted areas; report discrepancies to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, building entrances, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
