Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a part‑time Screener in Ladson, South Carolina. You will screen individuals and items, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to clients and visitors at a logistics and distribution location.

The role offers a flexible, part‑time schedule with pay rate of $16.33 per hour and access to the company’s Shift Claim platform.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required before employment.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet helpful.
• Age requirement: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while screening per site procedures.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and vehicles entering or leaving the location in line with post orders.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and shipping documents, report unauthorized activity to leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas, docks, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
