Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screener in Chester, VA. The role offers flexible, reliable hours with a fixed anchor shift and opportunities to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform.

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour with a part-time schedule, designed for income stability and potential progression to full-time roles. The candidate should be 18+ with a high school diploma and must pass background checks and a drug screen where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a Guard Card or license (preferred).
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Age: at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, personal belongings, packages, and deliveries entering designated technology facility areas per site procedures.
• Verify identification, access credentials, and visitor authorization; direct guests to check-in locations and maintain entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating as needed per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entry points, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
