Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Access Screening in Pooler, GA. The role involves using X-ray screening and access control to safeguard distribution facilities, providing customer service to employees and visitors, and maintaining a professional presence on site.

The position offers a part-time schedule with pay at $16.87 per hour. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of security experience, prior X-ray screening and badge work, and a high school diploma or

Qualifications

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
X-ray screening experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
CPR certification preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering and exiting the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
Inspect packages, parcels, and freight as directed, reporting suspicious or unauthorized items to site leadership.
Respond to incidents and complete required incident documentation.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
