Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard in Pooler, GA. You will guard and assist clients, screen people and materials, and help maintain a secure environment across logistics locations.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, and incident reporting. Minimum 6 months security experience is required; CPR and license are preferred. This role may require a background check and drug screening where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers and personnel by following site procedures.
• Screen employees, visitors, vendors and delivery personnel per access-control rules.
• Monitor inbound/outbound traffic, verify credentials and shipping docs, report irregularities.
• Respond calmly to incidents with documented observations and actions per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading zones and parking areas.
