Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to perform unarmed patrols and controlled driving routes in Raleigh, NC. The role emphasizes patient, visitor, and staff safety with a strong focus on customer service.

You will maintain a visible security presence, respond to incidents, and support site operations while working a flexible daytime schedule on specified shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where lawful.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and coordinate with site personnel and responders.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and assist with directions and reporting of issues.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation for incidents and patrols.
