Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Incident Reporting Patrol Driver in North East, MD. You will provide customer service, monitor access, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible security presence and professional client relations.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
