Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Guard in Tampa, FL. You will monitor entry points, verify badges, patrol defined areas, and provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

The position offers part-time hours with a daytime to evening schedule and a competitive hourly pay. You will work at a financial institution location and may need a guard card or license depending on state requirements.

Qualifications

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Guard card or license preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
State/county/city security license preferred.
Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check as required by law.
Drug screen per local regulations.
Licensing requirements depend on local laws.
Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and guide authorized individuals.
Respond to incidents calmly and document events for follow-up.
Conduct regular patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter to identify unauthorized activity.
Maintain a professional lobby and entry environment and communicate security concerns to site leadership.
