Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security provider, seeks a Part Time Security Officer in Chantilly, VA with a current DoD Top Secret clearance. You will protect client sites across aero/defense sectors, perform patrols, monitor access, and deliver professional customer service.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, following escalation procedures, and documenting activities and incidents clearly. Must meet minimum security requirements and be able to work a defined schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law; drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations professionally.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor restricted areas, verify credentials, report unusual conditions.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports.
