Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unauthorized activity, unsecured conditions, and other security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and emergency responders, document incidents and observations, and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
