Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in New Albany, Indiana to protect clients across commercial real estate, healthcare, education and more. You will provide customer service while enforcing safety procedures, responding to incidents, and patrolling sites as required by client policies.

Basic requirements include being 18+ (21+ for armed roles), a high school diploma or 5 years experience, and passing background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws; certain criminal histories considered
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety procedures, site policies and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; environments may vary by client site
