Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Ann Arbor, MI. You will patrol, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service to a technology-focused site.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and access-related issues and relay observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures; document activities and incidents.
• Support a service-oriented environment by giving directions and reporting maintenance or hazards.
