• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/contractor authorization per site procedures; document activities and incidents.
• Support a service-oriented environment by giving directions and reporting maintenance or hazards.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Use computer or tablet systems to document activity and support badge and access control processes while working with a reliable, innovative team that leads with integrity and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Support a professional, service-oriented environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance, hazards, and unusual conditions through established channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
