Allied Universal in Coopersville, MI is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol to monitor and safeguard client sites across industries, providing courteous service and quick response to incidents.

The role offers flexible day schedules, unarmed patrol duties, access control support, and opportunities to grow within a leading security services company. CPR/First Aid is preferred; background check and drug screen are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
