Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Patrol Monitoring in North East, MD. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, deter security incidents, and communicate with shoppers and staff to maintain a safe environment.

This role requires minimum qualifications including a high school diploma and background check; a guard card/license is preferred. Expect a DayTime schedule with pay rate $19.50 per hour and state-mated policies.

Qualifications

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for security concerns and report observations according to site procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and incident documentation.
